Arizona authorities arrested three people accused of running an illegal $3.5 million marijuana grow operation in Maricopa County.

Investigators with the Maricopa County Drug Suppression Task Force and High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area launched simultaneous raids last week, executing search warrants at three separate locations in Tonopah all connected to an illegal marijuana grow operation. according to KTVK-TV.

The raids resulted in seizures of over 1,400 marijuana plants, 18 pounds of marijuana, cannabis grow equipment, firearms, and ammunition.

The marijuana seizures had an estimated street value of approximately $3.5 million.

Law enforcement officials said the three suspects arrested, identified as 57-year-old Ramon Lopez-Frausto, 26-year-old Luis Alberto Aguilar-Amarillas, and 24-year-old Alexis Maldonado-Rodriguez. were charged with marijuana production and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
