A judge from Long Island, New York got busted with his robes down Thursday after he broke into his neighbor’s residence and stole a pair of women’s underwear.

According to the New York Post, Suffolk County Judge Robert Cicale broke into the home in East Islip at roughly 9 a.m. but bolted once he realized a 23-year-old woman was inside.

The woman dialed 911 and provided them with a description of Cicale.

Police then caught the judge outside the home and with the panties in his possession.

“He was found with . . . soiled undergarments. We don’t know if these were the proceeds from the burglary or a previous break-in,” Acting Commissioner Stuart Cameron said to Newsday.

Cicale has been charged with second-degree burglary.
