Three men from Utah have been found not guilty of the rape of a 9-year-old child while her mother was smoking meth in a garage.

According to Fox News, the jury arrived at the verdict last Wednesday in the case where the girl’s disturbing testimony about what she said took place after an Easter egg hunt in 2016 was the center of the case.

Defense lawyers contended that there was no physical evidence of the purported assault and the child was repeating a story made up by her paranoid mother.

Prosecutor Mark Thomas, however, pointed to the sexual assault case against Bill Cosby as he said testimony from the now 11-year-old girl should be adequate to convict them.

The three defendants who were acquitted of rape and sodomy are Larson RonDeau, 38, Randall Flatlip, 28, and Jerry Flatlip, 31.
