Investigators say Sydney Loofe, the 24-year-old Nebraska woman from Nebraska who went missing after she went on a date with a man that she met on Tinder was still alive when her purported killers purchased supplies allegedly used to murder and dismember her.

Aubrey Trail, 51, and 23-year-old Bailey Boswell were busted on a security camera at a Home Depot in Lincoln buying the tools only hours before Sydney Loofe, went missing, KETV reported.

The woman disappeared after a November 15th date with Boswell, whom she met on the dating app Tinder.

Trail and Boswell went the Home Depot before the meet-up — and before Loofe posted a picture of herself on Snapchat with a caption that read: “ready for my date.”

She was reported missing the next day when she neglected to show up at work.

Police found Loofe’s dismembered remains on December 4th in several garbage bags.

The suspects appeared in court Tuesday on murder and improper disposal of human skeletal remains charges. They were both ordered to remain in custody without bail.

A motive has not been released in the murder.
