A South Carolina man sporting a gun tattoo across his forehead was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm.

After Michael Vines was involved in a car accident, he reportedly threw a loaded .38-caliber revolver into the grass, the Greenville Police Department reported.

However, according to authorities, Vines is federally banned from possessing a firearm, Fox6 reported.

Aside from his inability to possess a gun, Vines has a particularly distinctive characteristic that made the case stand out: he has a large gun tattooed on his forehead.

Firefighters on the scene of the collision noticed Vines tossing the gun away and informed officers.

Vines has been charged with driving with a suspended license, driving too fast for conditions, and illegal possession of a firearm.

The car accident took place southwest of downtown Greenville, South Carolina.
