Rapper XXXTentacion, who was gunned down outside a motorcycle shop on Monday, posted an Instagram video only a few months ago, in which he foreshadowed his own horrific demise.

“Worst thing, I f–king die a tragic death or some s–t — and I’m not able to see my dreams — I want to know that the kids perceived my message and were able to make something of themselves and take my message and use it and turn it into something positive,” the 20-year-old rapper said in the video.

XXXTentacion, whose name was Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, was fatally shot in South Florida this week in what authorities called an armed robbery.

Authorities charged 22-year-old Dedrick D. Williams, on Wednesday on charges of first-degree murder.

The video of the rapper talking about his death was posted a few months ago, but it’s unclear when the video was recorded, according to The New York Post.

“If I die, or ever be a sacrifice, I want to make sure that my life made at least 5 million kids happy — or they found answers or resolve in my life,” Onfroy added. “Regardless of negativity around my name.”

While the “Look at Me!” star had an extensive following and burgeoning music career, he was also identified with his dark past.

Onfroy was taken into custody in 2016 after he assaulted his pregnant ex-girlfriend, Geneva Ayala, who alleged that she was been abused regularly. Prior to that, he was arrested multiple times for a wide range of crimes — including armed robbery, burglary, resisting arrest, and weapons possession.

Ayala recounted some of the abuse that she experienced at the hands of Onfroy in an interview with the Miami New Times in May.

“His favorite thing was to backhand my mouth,” she recalled. “That always left welts in my lips.”

The controversial rapper was also known to threaten to kill himself to keep the woman from leaving him, she claimed, while adding how he’d often take a microwave and hold it over a bathtub of water. The young woman always chose to stay, until finally, the abuse grew intolerable.

Ayala woke up one day — after Onfroy reportedly penetrated her vagina with a “long-handled barbecue fork” — and said that enough is enough.

“I remember thinking, ‘I cannot let this happen to me,’” she said. “‘This, right here, cannot happen to me.’”

Last year, Onfroy revealed that he would be donating $100,000 to domestic violence programs after media reports surfaced regarding his relationship with Ayala. However, there’s allegedly no evidence that he actually donated the funds.

He was not the first rapper to foreshadow his death. Some of hip-hop’s biggest names rapped about their demise in songs and videos, including both Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. in the 1990s.
