Florida Police arrested singer Chris Brown after a performance on a felony battery involving an altercation with a photographer last year at a Tampa nightclub.

Tampa Police Friday released more details about the battery warrant.

The warrant accuses Chris Brown of punching Bennie Vines Jr., who was hired by a club in Tampa to take pictures during an event hosted by Brown in April 2017, The Associated Press reports.

Vines told cops that Brown hit him while he was taking photographs of the event. Brown had already left when officers arrived that night.

Vines refused medical treatment, but he told the officers that he wanted to prosecute over a minor lip cut.

Brown was released from the Palm Beach County Jail after posting $2,000 bond.

The singer’s representatives have not commented on the arrest.
