On Monday, the Los Angeles County D.A.’s office announced singer Seal will not be facing criminal charges in a sexual battery complaint filed in January by his former neighbor.

The case — in which actress Tracey Birdsall alleged that the “Kiss from a Rose” star groped her and attempted to kiss her — was declined due to a lack of evidence and witnesses, along with an expired statute of limitations, People reported.

Birdsall claimed in January that Seal sexually assaulted her in February 2016 after she went to his house to pick up a salad spinner that he’d borrowed.

The actress asserted he lunged at her, grabbed her breasts and tried to kiss her — claims Seal has vehemently denied.

The 54-year-old woman said she was compelled to come forward close to two years after the incident because of Seal’s reaction to a speech Oprah Winfrey made in support of victims of sexual assault.

The singer at first referred to Winfrey as a hypocrite for having had a relationship with sexual predator Harvey Weinstein, but later retracted that statement and apologized to Winfrew personality in a video that also voiced his own support for victims.
