One person was arrested after authorities in Indiana reportedly recovered a “one pot” meth lab inside of a White Castle in Hobert on Friday, WGN9 Chicago reported.

Police officers were dispatched to the fast food joint just before 11 a.m. after the staff reported a suspicious customer trying to cook up meth.

Hobart authorities say they allege that several people might have been involved, including one patron who was seen sitting in a booth at the restaurant.

It is not apparent if that is the person who was arrested.

Law enforcement officials said state police contained and collected the chemicals. However, four Hobart officers were treated for chemical exposure.

A White Castle spokesperson said the restaurant reopened by 6 p.m. that evening after the Hobart Board of Health conducted an inspection.

In a statement to WGN9, White Castle Vice President Jamie Richardson said, “We are proud of our White Castle members who quickly alerted authorities about a suspicious customer, and thankful for the Hobart Police department’s response. We are grateful to be part of a community where everyone looks out for one another and works to keep our neighborhoods safe.”

ABC7 reported on Friday that charges have not yet been filed.
