Police arrest suspect in Rob Gronkowski home burglary

Authorities in Massachusetts have taken a man into custody in connection with a robbery at the home of New England Patriot Tight End Rob Gronkowski while he was at the Super Bowl.

Foxborough authorities said Anthony Almeida, 31, was charged on Friday with breaking and entering, receiving stolen property, along with malicious destruction of property after police searched his house in Randolph.

The  Foxborough residence of Rob Gronkowski was robbed in February while he was in Minnesota with his team to play against the Philadelphia Eagles. The tight end’s roommates also told police that they had items stolen.

So far, investigators have found an Apple watch, a Rolex, and some rare coins, WPRI reports.

Detectives added that they are looking for two additional suspects: 26-year-old Shayne Denn, and 28-year-old Eric Tyrrell.
