Houston man shot in the  head during Facebook Live as friends play with gun in car.

A Houston man was shot in the head as his friends messed around with a firearm in a car during a Facebook Live stream.

The incident which took place in the parking lot of a gas station on Easter Sunday left 26-year-old Devyn Holmes on life support, KHOU reported.

Investigators said Holmes was in the vehicle early Sunday with 25-year-old Cassandra Damper and another man when the woman started to point the gun at the camera.

“You’re making me nervous,” Holmes is heard saying in an edited video that was shared online.

The man is seen in the footage trying to stop the woman from brandishing the gun.

“It ain’t got no clip,” another person said.

However, seconds later, the gun went off and hit the 26-year-old man. The video going viral on social media does not show the moment he was shot but does show him slouched over and covered in blood.

Holmes was raced to Ben Taub Hospital, where he is still in critical condition.

Damper was arrested as she reportedly tried to wipe off the gun residue on her hands and charged with tampering or fabricating evidence.

The woman told police that she did not know the gun was loaded when she was questioned by detectives.

The other man involved in the shooting video has not been charged.

Authorities said additional charges could be forthcoming.
