Australian fitness model Mary Molloy, who gained notoriety on Instagram with 70,000 followers was taken into custody and charged with drug trafficking during a climactic overnight raid in Brisbane.

Authorities revealed that25-year-old Mary Molloy, and her former partner Jason Atkins, 32, were part of an extensive MDMA trafficking ring in Queensland.

The two were arrested following an overnight raid on properties in Newstead and Teneriffe. Both have been charged with a series of offenses including trafficking, supply, and possession of MDMA along with possession of materials used in the commission of a crime.

Molloy, who posted dozens of bikini-clad pictures on her Instagram and describes herself as a WBFF Fitness Pro, has also been charged with cocaine trafficking.

Their arrests are reportedly tied to two other arrests made in November after drugs were allegedly confiscated, which a group was said to be smuggling.

Detectives reported that 24,000 MDMA pills seized at a property in Albion, was worth an estimated street value of over $1 million.

Police believe that the drug enterprise was smuggling drugs from Sydney to Queensland and that Atkins has been tied to the property where the MDMA was found.

The Courier-Mail reported that Atkins and Molloy were in a relationship but broke up three weeks ago.
