A 30-year-old Utah man is facing multiple charges after authorities indicated that he “vomited” close to three dozen bindles of heroin.

An inmate booking sheet and a probable cause statement revealed that police officers were dispatched to a residence before 11 p.m. on Saturday night after receiving a report of a man smoking heroin.

The suspect’s wife told police that she and her husband, Mitchell Dean Kuhni, had been fighting when he broke a door and a frame in the house, then locked himself in a bathroom and started to smoke heroin, Fox61 reported.

When a responding officer knocked on the bathroom door, Kuhni told him that he would come right out.

After a few minutes – during which time police heard sounds of a toilet flushing and a running faucet – Kuhni came out of the bathroom.

Police immediately noticed that the man did not sem well and took him back into the bathroom where he vomited seven black bundles into the toilet, which later tested positive for heroin.

Kuhni then threw up 26 additional bundles into a container in front of him.

In total, 36 bundles of heroin were recovered, and Kuhni was charged with third-degree felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, along with two misdemeanors for criminal mischief and evidence tampering.
