Three people charged with cocaine trafficking following traffic stop in Massachusettes

Massachusettes State police say a traffic stop resulted in the seizure of drugs and arrest of three people on cocaine trafficking charges.

Law enforcement officials said officers patrolling on Route 84 East in Sturbridge, stopped a vehicle with three occupants Friday afternoon that was reported stolen in New York. .
During a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers discovered 1,050 grams of cocaine and arrests the three occupants identified as 26-year-old Crystal Giles, of North Carolina; along with 34-year-old Candice Elliott, and 30-year-old Carl Francois, both of New York on charges of cocaine trafficking, possession of a controlled substance intent to distribute, and receiving a stolen vehicle.

According to MassLive.com, all three suspects remain in custody on a pending bail of $10,000.

Court records haven’t indicated whether the women have hired attorneys who could comment on the charges.
