A woman in Flordia is facing charges of aggravated assault and drug trafficking after she hit her boyfriend with her vehicle and officers discovered a significant amount of fentanyl in her purse, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office revealed.

On Tuesday evening, deputies were dispatched after receiving a call from the WingHouse restaurant in Bradenton. A man told authorities that his girlfriend of two years had deliberately hit him with her car, the Bradenton Herald reported.

A witness managed to record the incident on their cell phone.

The video showed 27-year-old Daisy Walker striking the victim in the back of the head as he attempted to walk away. As the victim tried to get into his vehicle, Walker pulled him out and proceeded to hit him in the head numerous times.

The video moves away until a Nissan is shown driving toward the victim, hitting him with the front right part of the car. The victim was thrown into the air about three to five feet and sustained a broken arm that will require surgery.

The vehicle continued to drive around the parking lot, and the driver tried to strike the victim again but missed. The video stops when the car is seen leaving the parking lot.

Walker was taken into custody when she tried to visit her boyfriend at Blake Medical Center that night.

A search of her car exposed a purse filled with 54 grams of fentanyl, 12 grams of marijuana and $1,647.

A probable cause affidavit indicated that Walker asked to get her purse, and then the money inside of it. When she was told she couldn’t, she wrote on a piece of paper that there were also roughly two ounces of cocaine inside. She told officers that the cocaine was her boyfriend’s and that he had put the items in her purse to hide them.

“This started as a domestic disturbance, and we have a lot of domestics,” sheriff’s office spokesperson Dave Bristow stated. “This was a different kind of domestic.”

The affidavit noted Walker’s worked at Manatee Charter School. Although employees could not confirm that she currently works there, Colleen Reynolds, a spokesperson for Charter Schools USA, said Walker worked for the school as a clinical assistant from 2013 to 2014.

Manatee Charter School is a tuition-free charter school in Manatee County serving children in kindergarten through eighth grade. The school is governed by the Southwest Charter Foundation and is a part of Charter Schools USA.

Walker has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, bodily harm, simple battery, possession of cannabis less than 20 grams and drug trafficking over 28 grams.

Jail documents indicate that she is in custody at the Manatee County Jail without bond.
