St. Louis Police: One dead, five wounded in during driveby shooting

 St. Louis Police say one person was killed and five others were wounded in during a drive-by shooting on Tuesday

Authorities say a drive-by shooting left one man dead and five wounded in St. Louis on Tuesday.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, a sports utility vehicle with an unknown number of occupants opened fire on another vehicle in The Ville neighborhood located on the city’s north sidearound 5:30 p.m.

Cops said the unidentified gunmen armed with an assault rifle fired on four people in a sedan, who were talking to a female pedestrian and a male sitting on the front porch of a home.

The SUV immediately sped off following the shooting.

Cops said the unidentified male victim who was sitting on the porch of the home died at the scene.

First responders rushed two other men who were shot as they sat in a car to a local area hospital in critical condition, Fox29 reported.

One woman also hurt in the gunfire is listed in stable condition while two other female victims were treated for graze wounds.

All of the victims appeared to be in their 30’s and were acquaintances.

St. Louis Police officials said homicide detectives have taken over the investigation arrests and are actively working to identify the suspects.
