Authorities in Southern California arrested former NFL cornerback Brandon Browner on a litany of charges after illegally breaking and entering into his ex-girlfriend’s home outside Los Angeles Sunday evening despite having a restraining order against him.

Police officials in La Verne said Browner “allegedly physically harmed and threatened to kill the woman after breaking into the house.”

Browner also reportedly stole a $20,000 Rolex watch.

As a result, Browner faces multiple charges including kidnapping, burglary, false imprisonment and a violation of a restraining order.

Authorities said officers responded to calls about a male suspect breaking into a home through a locked window.

The man was later identified as the 33-year-old Brandon Browner, CBS Los Angeles reported.

According to L.A. County jail records, Browner is being held on $2-million bail.

Browner lives in Pomona and played football for Oregon State before signing with the CFL.

After playing several seasons in Canada he eventually signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2011 and went on to win a Super Bowl as a member of the much vaunted “Legion of Boom” defense.

The following year he signed for the New England Patriots where he won a second straight Super Bowl.

Brown has a previous arrest for domestic violence.
