Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy denies domestic abuse allegations

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy has vehemently denied accusations made on social media that he was involved in the physical assault of his ex-girlfriend during a home invasion.

The comments were in response to allegations made by a friend of McCoy’s former girlfriend, De Cordon, who posted a graphic photo of the bruised and bloodied woman in a hospital bed.

The disturbing image of the woman was posted by Instagram user @miamor_i_adore, which claims McCoy was responsible for the attack that occurred in a home owned by the Buffalo Bills star.

A graphic photo of a bloodied and bruised Cordon was posted on Instagram

The post also accused the running back of abusing his son, his dog and steroid use.

“THE DEVIL!!! YOU ARE AN ANIMAL!!” the post read.

However, in a statement posted on Twitter, LeShawn McCoy said he has not spoken to the alleged victim in months and called the allegations are “baseless and offensive.”

“For the record, the totally baseless and offensive claims made against me today on social media are completely false,” McCoy said. “Further more, I have not had any direct contact with any of the people involved in months.”

Also, according to TMZ, McCoy recently sued the woman in June to evict her from the home in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Additionally, attorneys for Cordon said in a statement that an assailant confronted the woman in her bed and ordered her to give him specific jewelry, which is the same valuables McCoy had wanted back in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, Milton Police officials said they have launched an active investigation into the domestic violence allegations involving LeSean McCoy.

The Buffalo Bills released a statement saying they have been in contact with McCoy and the NFL. “We will continue to gather information.”
