Two Florida men busted in Maine selling methamphetamine  out of motel room

Two Florida men were arrested in Maine selling methamphetamine out of a motel.

Officials with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency said Saturday that investigators surveilling the men after receiving reports of possible drug activity in Lincoln.

The investigation concluded with raids by drug agents and police, which resulted in the arrests of 29-year-old Rogelio Rios, and 27-year-old Jared Fogg, both of Florida, on Friday.

A search of their motel room and Rios’ car led to the discovery of 125 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 42 grams of heroin and more than $19,000 in cash, WABI reports.

Additionally, authorities recovered two 9mm handguns, one of which was reportedly stolen.

Fogg and Rios both are charged with multiple counts of aggravated trafficking and remain in custody at the Penobscot County Jail.
