FBI seeks help in search for for mom, special needs baby in Mexico

The FBI is looking for a 7-month-old baby and her mother who were last seen departing Laredo, Texas into Mexico.

Officials released a statement requesting assistance from the public to locate 7-month-old Dayanna Leeann Garza and her mother, Eunice Noemi Garza, 12. The feds indicated that the mother and child were last seen on June 27th as they traveled into Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas.

It is believed that the two may have been going to the Nueva Era area.

Federal authorities are frantically attempting to find Dayanna since she was born prematurely and requires special formula and continuous medical supervision.

The mother is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs roughly 195 pounds; she has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the San Antonio FBI at 210-225-6741. Information can also be submitted online anonymously at tips.fbi.gov.
