North Carolina authorities arrest three arrested during a drug bust on a daycare center

North Carolina authorities seized half-dozen firearms along with candy-laced marijuana, cocaine, heroin, and $70,000 in cash during a drug bust at a daycare center.

Police Fayetteville conducted the drug bust at “Tori’s Playhouse” on Tuesday, WTVD reported.

Fayetteville Police Sgt. Shawn Strepay said in a news release that officers conducting the raid, waited until the children had left the daycare.

Inside, the police discovered marijuana-laced gummies and cookies along with six firearms.

The owners of the daycare identified as Reshod J. Everett and Victoria L. Everett of Fayetteville face numerous charges including drug trafficking and conspiring to traffic in heroin.

Additionally, authorities arrested Alvin Davis III, 27 on drug trafficking and weapons charges.

Strepay added that the raid was the result of a months-long investigation involving narcotic-trafficking organizations.

It was not known if the co-conspirators have attorneys who could comment on the charges.
