A former North Dakota middle school teacher who permitted students to refer to her “Kim Kardashian” is accused of sharing sexually explicit Snapchat recordings with two boys — and reportedly had sex with one of them.

Authorities in West Fargo received a tip last month that Liberty Middle School educator, 37-year-old Shannon Moser, was having sex with a male student in Rendezvous Park, according to the KVLY.

Investigators received additional information that Moser — a married mom of four — had shared nude Snapchat videos with a 16-year-old.

The boy did not confess to having an inappropriate relationship with the woman, but his friend told law enforcement that the boy had discussed having sex with Moser. The 16-year-old also had informed his mother about his sexual relationship with the teacher.

The student ultimately came clean and told detectives that he had known Moser, a family friend, for about two years and that they were friends with each other on Snapchat.

The boy said Moser asked to meet one night in early June at Rendezvous Park, where she picked him up in her van outside West Fargo.

She stopped on a gravel road and the two had sex. Moser then said, “No one can know.”

The boy said Moser shared additional pictures after their meeting and asked once more if he wanted to have sex — but he reportedly refused.

Early this month, the teacher consented to speak with police, but was initially hesitant to answer questions, and kept asking what would happen to her husband and children.

Moser, who eventually requested an attorney, refuted the student’s accusations, but said: “We always preach, ‘Tell the truth,’ and I have not been.”

Authorities seized her phone and found links to porn sites that highlighted boys having sex with women.

Detectives said a second victim — a 15-year-old male — told officers on July 16th that he and Moser had been trading sexually explicit pictures through Snapchat for nearly a year.

The boy claimed he never had any physical contact with Moser, but said she had asked if he wanted to meet. He also said he was sent videos of Moser and her husband engaging in intercourse.

Moser, who taught science teacher at the school since 2016, was charged with two counts of using a minor in a sexual performance and one count of sexual assault. She resigned from her position on July 12th.

On Monday, her lawyer, Scott Brand, said that it was premature to talk about the case — but noted that the woman had no criminal history and has been a volunteer in the community.

“She’s mentored younger women and mothers who went through a tough upbringing,” he added. “She has been instrumental in people’s lives in a positive way.”

Heather Konshak, the school’s spokesperson, said officers asked the district to delay its own investigation while police conduct their probe.

“Since school is not in session, the district could confirm that Moser does not have any contact with students through school-related functions,” Konshak revealed in a statement.

“That same day, Moser sent her letter of resignation to the district. West Fargo Public Schools will continue cooperating with police in their investigation, and will not comment further, to not jeopardize their progress.”
