The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Louisiana says a Texas man pleaded guilty to federal drug charges and weapons counts stemming from his 2016 arrest in a New Orleans parking lot.

According to a Justice Department press release, 22-year-old Kalique Hardin of Dallas pleaded guilty Wednesday release. Hardin pleaded guilty to federal drug charges including one count each of conspiracy to distribute heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.

U.S. Attorney DuaneĀ Evans said Harding faces a possible 20-year prison sentence for the drug charges, plus five years on the gun charge.

The judge overseeing the case has scheduled sentencing for November.

Hardin was one of four people including Sidney Lebanks, Basin Wells, and LilBear George, arrested in February 2016 when troopers approached a parked vehicle and found guns, heroin and about $11,000 in cash in the car.

One other suspect has pleaded guilty in the case while two co-defendants await trial.
