Police: Robbery suspects steal Texas woman’s $75K bank withdrawal, ran her over

Shocking footage shows two violent suspects running over a woman with a vehicle and fleeing with her purse during a brutal robbery in Texas.

The victim, who has not been identified, had taken out $75,000 from the bank and the savage muggers trailed her to the Valero gas station she co-owns, according to Mark Herman with the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.

Security video taken Friday captures the brunette woman, sporting patterned pants and an orange shirt, about to open the door of the gas station when a man jumps out of a vehicle and tries to grab her purse.

“The victim fought and refused to give up her purse,” Herman stated.

Authorities identified Travonn Johnson as the second suspect in a Friday morning attack.

The bold woman grasped her purse tightly by the handle as the robber pulled her across the ground to pull it out of her hands. Ultimately, the woman’s husband ran out of the store to help, but the thief started punching him.

During the dispute, a Chrysler 300 drove up and a second thief jumps out to help his partner beat up the two victims. He then got back into his vehicle and backed up over the couple over as they were lying on the ground.

The woman was raced to the hospital in critical condition, Herman added.

Police arrested David Dowell Mitchell on charges of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and he is in custody at the Harris County Jail without bond, ABC13 reported.

Authorities are still on the hunt for the second robbery suspect, a man identified as Travonn Johnson who they believe ran the couple over.
