Arizona authorities say dark tints and failing to use a signal light when changing lanes resulted in the arrests of two people and seizure of $630,000 in black-tar heroin thats was being transported from Phoenix to Oklahoma.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a state trooper pulled over a vehicle on Interstate 40 near Holbrook Tuesday for failure to signal a lane change and excessive window tints.

During a subsequent search of the vehicle using a drug-sniffing K-9 uncovered 47 pounds of black-tar heroin, AZ Central reported.

DPS officials identified the two men arrested as 24-year-old Loreto Meza and 43-year-old Francisca Meza Aramburo.

Both Phoenix residents were booked into the Navajo County Jail.

Authorities say the suspects are facing charges related to drug trafficking including possession of a narcotic drug, possession of a narcotic with the intent for sale and transportation of a narcotic drug with the intent for sale.
