California Child Protective Services have placed a 15-year-old girl who was operating a marijuana business out of her bedroom with her mother’s knowledge.

Merced County Sheriff’s officials said on the department Facebook page that deputies executed a search warrant last Friday and discovered a litany of drugs and a “loaded AK-47” inside of a home in Delhi.

Officials said the mother of the teen provided the girl with weed to sell and use in her bedroom, according to Merced Sun-Star.

Investigators reportedly found “marijuana edibles, along with packaged weed for sale and other items associated with the distribution and consumption of marijuana belonging to the teen.”

Deputies also found 12 large pot plants, which were “contained in a makeshift greenhouse,” in the backyard of the home.

Police arrested two adults in the home identified as 44-year-old Norma Angelica Alvarez, and 44-year-old Jose Reyes Martinez.

The same day, deputies seized 180 pounds of weed, 348 marijuana plants, and four firearms throughout Merced County.
