Cartel gunmen ambushed seven bars in a coordinated terror-style stream of attacks, murdering six and leaving several others wounded in the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon.

The attacks occurred one month after gunmen executed at least a dozen victims at multiple bars in Monterrey.

The incidents took place last weekend at seven bars in Monterrey, when groups of gunmen busted into the businesses and began shooting indiscriminately.

According to local reports, the attacks commenced early Saturday morning at a bar called Woman Men’s Club.

The attacks on the bars in Nuevo Leon left a total of six dead

The gunmen executed a dancer and a security guard.

A few yards away, the same group of hitmen opened fire at a bar called Mansao and murdered the valet.

Down the street, the gunmen began shooting at another club called Black. In that incident, the gunmen only damaged the building.

A half hour after the initial shooting, Nuevo Leon state investigators verified that another attack took place at a bar called Los Rieles.

The gunmen intentionally targeted Erick Armando Vela Romero, 31, who was at the bar with a woman.

The woman was not wounded in the attack, however, they did murder a security guard named Felipe de Jesus Navarro.

Another incident transpired not far from the headquarters of the Nuevo Leon Police unit called Fuerza Civil.

The gunmen executed a waitress identified as 50-year-old Maria Josefina Morales Gonzalez and a male customer at a bar called Jercha’s.

The bar’s owner Jesus Charles de La Cruz, 60, was critically wounded and later succumbed to his injuries. Nearby, gunmen shot a customer at a bar called Tolo’s.

The last occurrence took place at a bar called La Junta, where the gunmen only opened fire on the building.

The latest stream of attacks occurs one month after groups of cartel associates killed at least 12 in a similar terror-style attack targeting bars in and around Monterrey.

According to reports, state law enforcement officials were investigating the Cartel Del Noreste (CDN) faction of Los Zetas, along with various independent cells, as the culprit of the attacks.

Hours after the news surfaced, the CDN posted a narco-banner opposing their involvement and blamed corrupt authorities for the bloodshed.
