Former Playboy model Christina Carlin-Kraft found strangled in her Philadelphia home.

A former Playboy model was discovered dead inside her home in suburban Philadelphia.

Authorities in Lower Merion Township, Pennsylvania, were conducting a welfare check on Christina Carlin-Kraft, 26, on Wednesday night, when she was discovered strangled inside the bedroom of her condo’ in the 100 block of Sibley Avenue, ABC6 reported.

Police officials said officers had visited her condo last week to investigate a potential robbery – but it wasn’t clear if that crime was related to Carlin-Kraft’s slaying.

Authorities indicated that an autopsy had been conducted, and the coroner determined that the model’s death was caused by a homicide via “ligature strangulation,” according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Investigators and local prosecutors haven’t immediately revealed a motive for the murder. However, the Montgomery County DA stated: “There does not appear to be any concern for residents in the area.”

Back in 2016, Carlin-Kraft got into a conflict with the manager of The Smith restaurant in the Upper West Side of Manhattan over the bill.

The former model was originally charged with misdemeanor assault, attempted assault and harassment.

However, the complaint was eventually dropped as long as Carlin-Kraft remained out of trouble for six months.
