A week-long federal law enforcement sweep led by the U.S. Marshals Service resulted in the arrests of 135 individuals sought in Nevada for various felony offenses.

Authorities said the operation led by federal agents targeted known gang members, fugitives, and sex offenders.

The U.S. Marshals Service said the sweep involving 21 federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies began on Aug. 20 and concluded on Friday.

Officials said among the suspects detained in the operation included Zavier Comminey, who was arrested in Clark County on a homicide warrant out of Dallas.

Authorities also arrested Ruden Cruz in southwest Las Vegas on a parole violation for fraud.

Officers secured the seizure of several firearms and drugs at the scene, KVVU reported.

Additionally, Mexican authorities also detained Selvin Eduardo Zacena-Valdez, who is wanted in Nevada for 11 counts of sexual assault involving a child as part of the operation.

In addition, agents seized 4.4 pounds of various narcotics along with 14 firearms during the week-long effort.
