A Border Patrol agent was shot at early Sunday while traveling near the U.S.-Mexico border near the San Ysidro Port of Entry, which is located between San Diego and Tijuana.

According to Fox 5 San Diego, the agent was not wounded in the incident, and the shots were reportedly fired from the Mexican side of the border. The agent fled unscathed.

Mexican officials reportedly took two men into custody, one of whom was in possession of a firearm.

At least two bullets hit the driver’s door, according to The Los Angeles Times. The FBI has since launched an investigation.
