The 14th suspect charged in the gang-related murder of Bronx teen Lesandro Guzman-Feliz pleads not guilty

New York City Police officials say the 14th suspect in the brutal gang-related killing of Lesandro Guzman-Feliz outside a Bronx deli has pleaded not guilty to murder charges.

Authorities say 20-year-old Frederick Then, of Reading, Pennsylvania, surrendered to authorities on Sunday, ABC7 reported.

He appeared for his arraignment Monday where he pleaded not guilty to his role with the June 20th machete killing of the 15-year-old Bronx teen.

Then remains in custody without bail. He is scheduled to appear back in court on Oct. 25th.

NYPD officials say all 14 suspects are members the Trinitarios gang, a violent Bronx-based street gang.

Lesandro Guzman-Feliz was reportedly targeted by the gang after he mistaken for a rival gang member.

Footage of the teen’s horrific killing shocked the city and garnered nationwide attention.
