O.J. Simpson says Bill Cosby needs to watch his back behind bars because rapists are frowned upon in prison.

A Pennsylvania judge Tuesday, slapped the 81-year-old disgraced comedian with a three-10-year prison term for drugging and raping Andrea Constand in 2004.

Simpson, who served nine years behind bars for kidnapping and armed robbery gave the warning to TMZ from a Nevada golf course on Wednesday.

“I’m sure there will be guys protecting him but they’re gonna have to put him in protective custody … because it takes one nut, ya know?” Simpson said.

The 71-year-old Simpson added: “The problem is the nature of the crime.”

Around 60 women have stepped forward to accuse Cosby of committing sex-related crimes including rape.

According to reports, Cosby has so far been kept in protective custody at the State Correctional Institution Phoenix awaiting his final prison designation.

However, a prison spokesman told The New York Post that officials intend to integrate the Cosby into the facility’s general population.

Simpson maintained that the former Cosby show star would be better suited to house arrest.

“With his health and his age and the nature of the crime, there’s not a warden in this country wants the responsibility of a Bill Cosby,” Simpson said.

Stevie Wonder also cast doubts whether prison conditions would suit Cosby.

“I don’t like prisons, I respect the work that he’s done in his career as an artist. He’s inspired a lot of people and I just pray God will give him mercy,” Wonder said.
