Kentucky teacher who was caught snorting drugs in class arrested again

An elementary school teacher in Kentucky who was taken into custody earlier this year for reportedly snorting drugs in class is back behind bars.

On Sunday, 42-year-old Cherish Rednour was arrested in Clark County after she skipped out on a court hearing for child endangerment, according to WTVQ.

The former Menifee Elementary School educator, who allegedly snorted drugs in front of her students, was set to appear in court Thursday for a pre-trial hearing.

Police officials filed an arrest warrant when she neglected to appear.

Rednour was initially taken into custody in February after two students claimed that they saw her crush a pill with a credit card in their classroom.

The children then said she made a line with a substance, which she snorted before falling over her desk.

The children also said “it was hard for her to stay awake,” the police report revealed.

Authorities investigating the incident discovered a white residue on Rednour’s desk and a tampon applicator in her bra that “resembled a small, cut straw,” the Lexington Herald-Leader revealed.
